A Little About my Life Philosophy
The core of my life philosophy is to be forever grateful, forever mindful, and forever finding balance in movement. I am an eternal optimist, which is compatible with allowing myself bad days. I have trust in my own resilience and am forever in love with learning.
Nonviolent Communication
One of my favourite things about communication is the possibility it brings to find and foster nuance, to understand each other better, and to reduce polarisation.
I've recently read The Righteous Mind by Jonathan Haidt (an oldie but goodie), and am currently writing my thesis on reducing polarisation among Spanish Gen Z on women's rights and issues.
High-Performance Teams
Teamwork is a non-negotiable skill in any communication-related field. Having had to work in groups for most of my projects, I quickly developed an interest for what constitutes the best foundation for effective, cohesive teamwork. Thus, I've taken extracurricular seminars on high-performance teams and have been applying and polishing my learning ever since.
Leading a Meaningful Life
This may seem like a huge topic, but for me, it specifically means reflecting on what brings me purpose, managing my digital wellbeing, and making the use of my time reflect my values.
Last year, I read "Indistractable" by Nir Eyal and took a seminar course on managing time and energy effectively. Today I feel like I'm thriving and more in tune than ever with my values and those around me.
